Colonel Rajesh is recognized as an authority on counter-terrorist operations due to his vast experiences in tackling terrorism in J&K and Assam. He has done extensive research on Disaster Management while in service to negotiate the situations of military and civil nature and earned his Ph.D. Degree from Ranchi University, and widely known as Disaster Mgt Expert. His academic proficiency and lust to acquire knowledge made him the uninterrupted recipient of successive degree of MA & M.Phil in Human Rights, Fellow in Electronic & Communication Engg, MBA from Symbiosis,Pune, M.Sc in Forensic Science and Diploma in Defence Management etc, still pursuing his D.Litt. Prof. Rajesh authored few books and presented numerous papers to the seminars & symposiums of national and International repute. He has been associated with Academic Staff College of UGC, Ranchi, NIDM and NDMA New Delhi, Deptt of Human Rights, Ranchi University, Central University, Jharkhand, LNJP National Institute of Forensic Science, New Delhi and many other academic institutions as faculty/interviewer/viva expert etc since many years. He has also been guiding & supervising research scholars on their Doctorate (Ph.D degree) in concerned academic field. He is an adventure sports enthusiast and has several achievements to his credit.

Dr. Prakash Kumar

Assistant Professor

With 17 years of academic and administrative experience to his credit, Dr. Prakash Kumar is an efficient and hard working member of the JRSU family holding the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, JRSU, Ranchi. Prior to joining JRSU in October 2020, Dr. Kumar was the Controller of Examinations in RKDF University, Ranchi and was shouldering the responsibility of conducting and managing the entire examination system of the university. Before rendering his duties to this key job, Dr. Kumar was the district Head of the IT Cell, Aurangabad district (Bihar) under the umbrella of Bihar Vikas Mission (Govt. of Bihar). He played an imperative role in the implementation of various development projects of the state government in the Aurangabad district. Dr. Kumar also had a brief but an impactful engagement as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology at Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi. He stayed there for two years.

In addition to his academic excellence and achievements, Dr. Kumar earned administrative skills too while holding the position of Director, Nilai Educational Trust Group of institutions (NETGi), Ranchi for two years and successfully performed the post of an academic manager. Prior to his service to NETGi, he served as an Associate Professor at IET, Alwar (Rajasthan) & as an Assistant Professor at LIET, Alwar (Rajasthan). Both the institutes are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. In addition to academics field, Dr. Kumar also served the software industry in a prime responsibility while he was a software engineer at SBPL, Noida, U.P.

Dr. Prakash Kumar earned his Ph. D degree in Information Technology domain from BRABU, a state govt. university. He secured his Post Graduation degree in Computer Science from UPTU. Dr. Kumar has authored several research papers in national and international research papers, also attended many seminar and conferences and faculty development programmes during his academic career.

Rohit Raj

Assistant Professor

Mr.Rohit Raj is an assistant professor and course-coordinator in the Department of Police Science, JRSU Ranchi. He has completed his Master's degree in Public Administration from the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia(New Delhi). Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral degree on the topic Police administration and citizen-centric reforms: A study of Community policing in Bokaro and Hazaribagh districts of Jharkhand from the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia(New Delhi). His research interests includes- Research methodology, Theories of Public administration, Public policy, Criminal Justice administration, Policing, Police work, Police culture, Community policing and Conflict studies. He has authored two research papers and has contributed a chapter titled  Decolonization. in Pushpa Singh& C.Sharma (eds.), Comparative Government and Politics (pp 100-120). New Delhi: Sage. Rohit enjoys reading on diverse issues, travelling and sports.

CS Pooja Shukla

Assistant Professor

CS Pooja is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. In addition to this she also holds Bachelor’s degree in Law, Master's degree in Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations. CS Pooja has served the Ranchi Chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India as its first lady office bearer, first lady Secretary, first lady Treasurer and the youngest elected member. She takes keen interest in delving into corporate and professional issues and is consulted on various corporate matters by the industry. Having been endowed with excellent knowledge and communication skill she has been educating and training students and professionals in the since 2008. CS Pooja ia a regular and acclaimed speaker in the professional and academic forums on the subjects of contemporary and academic professional interests including interpersonal and communication skills. She is an empanelled trainer and researcher of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Pooja also has keen interest in creative writing and her articles and suggestions have found place in several reputed journals and news papers. She has been conferred with number of awards like Jharkhard Kavya Gaurav Samman, Shatabadi Samman , Ved Prakash Vajpayee Samman, Shan e Urdu Samman for her contribution in area of literature.

Shivani Priyam Kumar

Ms. Kumar completed her Masters degree in Criminology, from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi; coming second in rank. She is a qualified NET scholar. She joined her alma mater as a faculty.. She has a undergrad degree in English literature and has published original works on various literary sites online. She has a degree in performing arts and fine arts and has laurels from recognized institutions in the same. She has worked as an intern with CID, Ranchi and Enforcement Directorate and has published articles in Indian Society of Criminology journal.

SameerKumar

Assistant Professor

Mr. Kumar completed his Masters in Criminology from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi. He is a NET scholar and holds second rank in the university. He completed his undergrad in BBA (HR) from Ranvijay Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Bokaro. He has attended and presented his paper at the 42nd All India Criminology Conference in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Mr. Kumar is a poet and a writer and a keen patron of old tradition of Indian Poetry and Prose Writing. Mr. Kumar also worked as an intern in CID, Ranchi and Enforcement Directorate and has expertise in Economic Offenses and its Prevention.

Jaya Singh

Assistant Professor

Ms. Singh has completed her Masters in Forensic from University of Delhi. She is a qualified NET scholar and has expertise in fingerprints. She has worked with National Crime Records Bureau in the fingerprints division and currently works as controller of the Examination Department of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti Univerity. She has an academic experience of more than two years and has attended and presented in various seminars in her fields.

Sunita Rani

Assistant Professor

Ms. Rani completed her Masters degree in Forensic Science from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. She is a qualified NET scholar and has an academic experience of more than four years. She also holds experience of working in many Forensic Science Laboratories. She has worked in Psychology Division of Forensic Science Laboratory in Gujarat. She then worked in Delhi, Forensic Science Laboratory and went on to work in State Forensic Science Laboratory in Haryana. She also has worked as Dope Control Officer in National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). Ms. Sunita has a strong hold over practical experimentation and lab work.

Vibha Rachna Horo

Assistant Professor

Ms. Horo has completed her Masters in Forensic Science from Dr. Harisingh Gaur Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar. She is a NET scholar and has an experience of one year in academics. She worked as an intern in State Forensic Science Laboratory in Madhya Pradesh and has expertise in toxicology and drug assessment. Ms. Horo has special interest in performing arts and holds laurels in visual performance from various recognized institutions.

Anjali Nandan

Assistant Professor

Ms. Nandan, is a gold medalist, clinical psychologist from Benaras Hindu University. She has more than three years of experience in academics and providing counseling services to students and clientele of Delhi Government. She has worked closely with Delhi Government to provide clinical therapy to Covid patients during the pandemic lock down. She is a keen patron of performing arts and has laurels from recognized institutions in the same. Ms. Nandan is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology.

Rashmi Kumari

Assistant Professor

Rashmi Kumari completed graduation and post graduation in literature from Delhi University in the year 2015 and 2017 respectively. She is NET qualified and has also cleared Karnataka SET and Madhya Pradesh SET in her first attempt. Besides teaching as an Assistant Professor in Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi, she is also pursuing Ph.D from Usha Martin University, Ranchi. Her main research interests cover several aspects in the field of Literature, with a special focus on Feminist Studies, Nineteenth Century British Literature, Partition Studies, Gender Studies and Writings by Indian Women. Kumari is fascinated with languages, be it English, Hindi or Urdu. She seeks refuge in the silences of a library or a sea, and finds positivity in teaching and sharing her knowledge.

Miss RUCHIKA TASKEEN KERKETTA

Miss RUCHIKA TASKEEN KERKETTA has completed her graduation and Post-graduation in English Literature, from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi. She has been the gold-medalist of her batch, graduation and second rank holder, in her Masters, she went on to qualify the UGC NET examination for the post of Assistant Professor and is currently pursuing Ph.D in English literature from Ranchi University, Ranchi. Miss Kerketta has chosen to pursue her research in the field of indigenous cultures and literature, she is an avid reader and finds solace while delving deep into minutiae of fiction. Tanisha Ranjan

Ms. Ranjan, is a licensed advocate. She completed her LLB from CMR Law School, Bangalore and holds an LLM degree from NLU, Ranchi. She has worked as an intern under Mr. Salman Khursheed in Supreme Court, High Court, Jharkhand, District Courts and various IPR firms. She holds a specialization in Intellectual Property Rights and has various publications to her name in both national and international journals. Ms. Ranjan is a dancer, painter and an artist in her free time and loves to mold her blank canvases to her vivid imagination.

Dr. Sweta Nidhi

Assistant Professor

SWETA NIDHI is an assistant professor in the Department of Forensics Sciences, Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Ranchi. She is a doctoral student in Aix-Marseille University, France. Her thesis study includes studying the defense system of the microorganisms. Her academic interests focus on studying the genomes of the microorganisms with the help of computational tools. She has 2 years of teaching experience in the Department of Biotechnology, BBMK University. She has been actively involved in sports and is currently coordinator of the Sports and Cultural Committee in the University.
